How to be correct in an argument — 1
There are times when we are talking to the person and have a sense that the other person has wrong opinions. There are some categories made which can help you and make the other person quiet 😉. But remember to be right in the argument. Your purpose should not be to win. Just be right!
Argumentum ad populum
An argument is true because many people believe it to be true.
Latin for “Argument to the people”. The fallacy of attempting to win popular assent to a conclusion by arousing the feeling and enthusiasm of the multitude.
It alleges — If many believe so, it is true.

General Argument!
Argumentum ad populum proves only that a belief is popular, NOT that it’s true.
Anecdotal Evidence
Generalizing an evidence on a small sample
Anecdotal evidence is evidence from anecdotes, i.e., evidence collected in a casual or informal manner and relying heavily or entirely on personal testimony.

There is no way to prove that. Its just a belief based on someone or very small data sample.
